KIDNAPPING
At the entrance of the Wendake territory or at the beginning of the Site’s surrounding forest, two Indian warriors are hidden. They are costumed and wear paint on their faces. They intercept the group of visitors either in the bus or during the stroll in the forest. They clearly indicate to the visitors that according to the Indian Act " A person who trespasses on a reservation is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction". Because they did not obtain the proper authorization to enter the reservation our warriors are taking over the group and escort them to the Traditional Huron Site where the activities you have planned await them. Available from May to October.

PEACE PIPE CEREMONY
The Peace Pipe Ceremony has for objectives to emphasize the presence of an important person amongst our Nation or to make peace with an enemy Nation. This ceremony is conducted by a member of our dance performers and is often joined with the kidnapping event. It can however be executed independently.

MEDICINAL PLANTS
Please, look after yourselves as Indian. By means of a herbarium specially conceived for that purpose and by means of certain plants which grow on our site. Curative come to discover with us the characteristics of healing plants as well as. With the meaning of these plants and so to understand why our ancestors used them in certain purposes. They obtained surprising results in their fight against the diseases.

CUSTOM MADE PACKAGES
We also devise custom made packages for special groups. These packages can last from an hour or to a whole day. If you wish, your group can conclude the day around a bonfire with our story teller.

LEASING AND EXCLUSIVITY
Our restaurant as well as the Site’s grounds and equipments can be reserved for private events.
